Mindfulness Activities and Lessons
Mindfulness Activities and Lessons can be tied into the Health, Physical Education, Art, and Language Arts curriculums. The general outcomes that I have identified below apply to DIV I and DIV II.

HEALTH:
Wellness Choices: Students will make responsible and informed choices to maintain health and to promote safety for self and others.
Relationship Choices: Students will develop effective interpersonal skills that demonstrate responsibility, respect, and caring in order to establish and maintain healthy interactions.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION:
General Outcome B: Students will understand, experience and appreciate the health benefits that result from physical activity.
ART:
Reflection: Responses to visual forms in nature, designed objects and artworks.
Depiction: Development of imagery based on observations of the visual world.
LANGUAGE ARTS:
Listening and Speaking: Students are able to explore ideas and concepts, as well as to understand and organize their experiences and knowledge.
Reading and Writing: They enable students to extend their knowledge and use of language, increase their understanding of themselves and others, and experience enjoyment and personal satisfaction.
Viewing: Viewing is an active process of attending to and comprehending different mediums. It enables students to acquire information and to appreciate the ideas and experiences of others.
